Mission
Our Compliance team is looking for a Compliance Officer in Paris who will support Neoen’s business using technical expertise and understanding of regulation to aid in the design and implementation of compliance programs that meet applicable regulatory requirements, including inter alia the FCPA and UKBA.
Neoen Compliance team develops and implements policies and procedures, systems and controls, training and communications, monitoring activities, and management reporting to prevent, detect and respond to violations of law and company policies.
Reporting to the Head of Insurance and Compliance based in Paris, France, the main duties for the role will include:
- Design and update policies and procedure in compliance with the FCPA and UKBA
- Carry out and update the corruption risk map; monitor the implementation of the associated action plans
- Manage and support company-wide compliance, monitor audits/gap analysis focused on assisting operational teams in understanding of their compliance obligations and drive remedial actions
- Implement procedures for third party due diligence and ensure effective performance of such third party due diligence
- Deliver timely and practical advice internally on regulatory, risk, compliance issues
- Build and maintain positive relationships with compliance relay in Neoen ’s business
- Prepare and deliver trainings on requirements and procedures
- Draft ABC clauses with the legal team and ensure their implementation in Neoen ’s agreements
- Conduct investigations into alleged violations of internal policies and/or laws and regulations applicable to the group
Profile
- Baccalaureate + 5 years degree
- 3-7 years previous compliance management experience; gained in an international environment
- Demonstrated experience managing key external stakeholders and third-party consultants
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, confident at liaising with people from all levels of business including the senior management executive team
- Ability to adapt to diverse environments and manage multiple priorities
- Independent and autonomous working style - you will be the compliance officer within Neoen group worldwide and you will be in charge of implementing and developing a compliance network
- You bring initiative, collaboration, and your curious nature to examine and re-engineer process, policies and strategies.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Spanish or Italian (desirable)
