Mission
Our Construction Department is looking for a Construction Project Manager, who will be responsible for construction management of renewable energy projects in Brescia, Italy.
An ideal candidate will have experience of managing EPC contracts, proven expertise in HSE and construction management and ability to manage local operational constraints.
The position is based in Brescia, Italy and will report to the Construction Management Leader (based in Brescia, Italy) and includes permanent interaction with NEOEN’s project development teams and frequent trips to construction sites in Italy.
Key responsibilities during the Project implementation phases: Construction and Pre-construction
- Oversee and ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Implement effective project management methods and tools.
- Manage contracts and performance of EPC suppliers, subcontractors and consultants.
- Monitor and mitigate construction risks.
- Monitor and optimize construction costs.
- Ensure QA/QC standards are met and delivered plants are following quality standards.
- Implement all necessary measures to ensure compliance with the Grid Code and enabling grid connection and commissioning in due time.
- Prepare and deliver regular project reports.
- Manage and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support projects in pre-construction phase: take part in tender preparation, EPC offers analysis and clarifications, contracts negotiation.
- Support Neoen’s development team for projects in early-stage site diligence - providing feedback on constructability.

Profile
- Project engineering background (Process/civil/mechanical/electrical/utilities/ environment)
- Minimum 3 years of similar professional experience, ideally in the renewables sector, or in the energy sector, or in the infrastructure / industrial projects sector.
- Technical expertise of renewable energy plants and equipment such as wind turbines, solar PV, battery systems and/or associated electrical equipment is seen as a benefit
- Past implementation of HSE and QA/QC procedures during project construction is also an advantage
- Reliability, accuracy, strong synthesis and reporting skills
- Strong motivation to work in the renewable sector
- Organizational skills
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Autonomy and leadership
- Fluency in English
