Mission

Reporting to a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will contribute to the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including power generation assets and associated civil and electrical infrastructure.  

Immediately joining an experienced, high-performing and collaborative team, you will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of wind farm and battery projects that is critical to the transition to a low-carbon energy system gaining hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of major infrastructure projects, including planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. 

Your main tasks include:

  • Assist with the delivery of power generation assets, including civil and electrical infrastructure 
  • Establish and maintain the key project registers and trackers
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
  • Develop project documentation and review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Coordinate and participate in site inspections and audits
  • Track issues, risks, and actions, and support timely close-out
  • Support the management of contractors and consultants
  • Environmental and regulatory compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance
  • Contribute to problem-solving and implementation of lessons learned
  • Participate in community engagement activities

Profile

This role is suited to a graduate or early-career professional engineer looking to build a career in civil infrastructure and renewable energy industry with:

  • Engineering Degree (Electrical preferred) 
  • 0–2 years’ or equivalent experience in construction, civil infrastructure, energy industry
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities 
  • Understanding of project delivery principles 
  • Strong interest in major renewable energy and power generation projects
  • Proactive, motivated and eager to learn 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Collaborative team player
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset 
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
